To a first time home buyer, a realtor has to wear many hats. Advisor, researcher, counselor and at times, even therapist. We met Lauri surreptitiously at an open house when she approached us to lend another perspective about the home buying question. We appreciated her proactive candor, and were impressed with her region specific knowledge. After a follow up conversation, we knew we wanted her to be our agent. Knowing that we were starting our home buying process in a difficult market with a lot of unknowns, Lauri was very patient and helpful as she advised us on the upcoming process. Since we’re new to the Boston metro, Lauri spent a lot of time helping us explore the town, cities, and neighborhoods in a large area. She helped us understand our desired (and occasionally conflicting) criteria, and was diligent about finding and researching houses that fit, often the same day or before they were available. When we found a house with an incredible location and a perfect layout, she was instrumental in getting us early access, and forming a relationship with the seller’s realtor and related parties. We made an offer without contingencies which was accepted, and she coached us through the jubilations and anxieties that followed. As first time home buyers, waiving contingencies was a gamble without precedent but Lauri did all she could to assuage our fears. Ultimately, many of our worries were unfounded and after a tight closing deadline that required a lot of teamwork, we’re now happily settling in to our new home. Throughout the process, Lauri provided timely and helpful guidance in many forms. She was very polite, thoughtful, knowledgeable and attentive. We could not ask for much more in a realtor, and we highly recommend her.
Lauri was great through this whole process of us selling our home and buying a new one. She worked with us for almost a year while we prepared to selling our home and were activity looking for a new home. She provided great resources to us which made it easy to pick a new Mortgage company and Real Estate Lawyer. Everyone worked with as a team during this time and always willing to answer any questions or concerns we may have had. Lauri was my realtor for both the purchase and the sale (a little over a year later) of my condo. I fully recommend Lauri! While the purchase was easy, the sale had a number of hiccups with the seller that Lauri managed and kept me calm. A good realtor needs to be a combination of a business person, a leader, a researcher, a marketing professional, an administrator, and a therapist. Add-in a touch of handyman, decorator, and pitch-in moving help and you must have Lauri Dyer as your realtor! A good realtor should be able to speak comfortably and knowledgeably to you, to the other realtor, to the lawyer, to the inspector, and to the appraiser. Oh, and possibly the trades-people you needed to do last-minute repairs/inspections but you can’t meet at the door because of your schedule so your realtor kindly steps in to make it happen. Again, if this is your experience, you must have had Lauri! Lauri did all of this and was thoroughly professional and knowledgeable and kind. I absolutely recommend Lauri Dyer to anyone buying or selling!

High marks for Lauri Dyer, who has what it takes to find her find her customers' success but also to earn their satisfaction. Lauri certainly has the competence to help a customer through the twists and turns of a sale, and, for me, it seemed like there were many. Above/beyond that, it was Lauri's care and communication that somehow still made the seemingly raucous journey smooth. While I am new to--even naive about--the buy/sell process, I am of the type who, nevertheless, wants (demands!) to understand process intricacies. Throughout, Lauri obliged my every question and request, quickly and in full and with respect. The sale proved lucrative, but, beyond that, the time and care Lauri offered gave me confidence that the outcome was great.
